Ted, with the help of some friends and an increasing slow wife, completed the remainder of the trellis support wires just last week.
On Tuesday he began stringing up the sisal that the hop bines will climb.
Quite surprisingly, as soon as they had something to hold onto, they took off!
If you look closely at the first two photos below, you can see the sisal coming down off the cable.
A few plants are already waist high!!
Incredible!!!
